Mobile Application Malware Detection Using Multimodal Machine Learning:

Undergraduate Research

I had the opportunity to partake in research with Professor Houman Homayoun, alongside Ning Miao. We took a look at ways to detect data leakage in Android mobile applications using machine learning strategies. We operated on the static data in the application, using a Graph Neural Network, and on the dynamic data that changes over the app’s lifetime using a Recurrent Neural Net for the time series data.
